For the Cookie Dough:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 large egg (room temperature)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
For the Mix-Ins:
1 cup fresh strawberries (finely diced, patted dry)
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (for tossing with strawberries)
For the Cream Cheese Filling (Optional):
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Prep strawberries: Dice strawberries very small. Pat dry with paper towels. Toss with 1 tablespoon flour. Set aside.
Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
